In just a few short days Frieze New York will get into full swing at Randall’s Island Park with more than 190 exhibitors. Between May 2nd and May 5th, thousands of visitors will descend upon the fair, which this year will feature curated sections called Frame, Spotlight, Diálogos, and Just Above Midtown (JAM). Diálogos, curated by Patrick Charpenel and Susanna V. Temkin will highlight contemporary Latin American and Latino/Latinx artists while JAM, curated by Franklin Sirmans will honour Linda Goode Bryant, whose gallery inspired the name for the exhibition. Frieze New York has also spilled over into Rockefeller Center, which has become the home of Frieze Sculptures. This is the first year that New York has offered Frieze Sculptures having debuted in London’s Regents Park alongside the fair.
