« The Barber of Seville”

For one month, the Opéra Bastille will be shining a spotlight on The Barber of Seville. Rossini’s famous opera buffa is receiving a modern production from the Venetian Damiano Michieletto. Inspired by the films of Pedro Almodóvar, the Andalusian capital is portrayed here with its picturesque streets and colourful buildings.
